And Salmon begat Boaz of Rachab; and Boaz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse; Matt 1:5.
Every scripture has its purpose in the Bible. As I looked at the above scripture, my spirit settled on Ruth. What was Ruth doing in the lineage of Jesus? Remember, Ruth was a Moabites, a cursed tribe as a result of the deeds of their forebears.
God Himself placed a perpetual injunction on the tribe not to come close God’s people for any reason. Look at this:
‘An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the Lord for ever’ Deut 23:3
LESSONS:
1. If God can change His word over the will of man to live a life of difference then, no devil, witch or man can stop you from fulfilling destiny.
2. Your history can never stop your destiny if your mentality refuses to accept captivity.
3. God through His mercy can choose the rejected and abandoned to fulfill His agenda.
4. No one can really claim monopoly of God or His ways.
5. Never allow the stories they told about you or your family stop you from striving for a life of difference.
6. God deals with us individually not as a group, race or denomination.
7. God can use the basket to fetch water where the bowl feels too important.
8. Never conclude about anyone’s future or possibility based on what you know about their present or past. God can meet them in between.
9. Everyone has a future of greatness if you’re willing to pay the price for it.
10. Persistent focus in the right direction, action and principles will always lead to a life of distinction.
HER SECRETS:
1. Locating God’s people and sticking with them- right association.
2. A life of sacrifice- leaving her land and relations in pursuit of destiny.
3. Calculated risk- leaving a known territory with the possibility of remarriage to an unknown territory with possibility of remaining single for life.
4. A life of submission and obedience to an authority figure- only did what Naomi instructed.
5. A life of diligence- will work from morning to evening.
6. A life of integrity- will declare to her mother in law everything she made.
7. Being proactive- positioning herself where she can be located.

You shall disappoint the expectations of the wicked and enemies!
Your name is delisted from any list of ancestral curses and limitations!
You are the next big thing that will happen to your community!
Because of you, the negative story of your lineage is upturned in Jesus name!
