Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. Acts 9:13-14.
Many times people who know your past try to predict your future based on what they used to know. Paul left Jerusalem a dedicated Pharisee, the disciples in Damascus were expecting the arrival of a brutal Pharisee, but Paul arrived Damascus a disciple. Between Jerusalem and Damascus, a change occurred that was unknown to those at Jerusalem and those at Damascus.
See! Your outcome is going to surprise people!
Hmm! People may think they have seen and known you, but something is about to happen to you that will dumbfound those who knew you and those predicting and expecting your outcome! Aaaaah!!!! God did not consult the people at Jerusalem, neither did He seek the opinion or permission of those in Damascus to effect the required change that gave a new name, profession, association and status to Paul.
Listen, get ready to be a surprise!
Don’t mind those who know your Jerusalem or those who are already in Damascus, you are still in process, they don’t know what is happening in between. Something is happening to you this season that will give you a new name, class and friends.
Don’t give up on God, for He won’t give up on you… He is able…..
