Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. Luke 5:4-5.
Many a time we pray for or prophesy unto people for a net breaking miracle without actually considering why the net broke and if it’s the will of God for the net to break.
As I looked at the encounter above, I discovered that Jesus said NETS but Peter heard NET and I heard the following:
1. Losses become inevitable where attention is not paid to instructions.
2. It is possible to underplay your role in life where you lack full understanding of the details of your assignment.
3. That you speak in tongues, attend church and pay tithes (like Peter who was at the crusade, gave his boat and received prophecy) may still not stop you from experiencing losses if you don’t pay attention to the rules of engagement in your field.
4. It is possible to be praying, fasting and sowing seeds of breakthrough without experiencing them where adequate preparations are absent.
Your spirituality may provoke a breakthrough but you need the right mentality to keep it through.
5. Though God is not limited in resources and ability but man’s mental, spiritual and emotional preparation can limit the expression of Divine possibilities in his life.
6. It is possible to have a genuine vision from God and still experience resistance and frustration where accurate instructions and adequate preparations are ignored.
7. God does the calling for a Pastor but does not determine the color of the calling. The called determines the color of the calling.
8. Those who ignore or take adequate information for granted will always be at the mercy of circumstances and never escape regrets in life.
9. Any time used to access relevant information and receive needed instructions is not spent or wasted but an investment with a profitable future dividends.
10. Men may witness your frustration today but will not deny your impact tomorrow if you will spend time to search and research for the missing instructions.
11. It’s not how long you have TOILED that matter, one encounter with the right OIL (anointing) will terminate your TOIL.
12. The duration of your struggle cannot determine the duration of your turnaround when God remembers you.
My counsel:
1. Know what you want out of life.
2. Pay attention to receive the right instructions from your mentors or instructors.
3. Make adequate preparations and be always ready for opportunities.

* May God orchestrate your helpers of destiny to meet you at the right time and place!
* They have heard Your stories enough! They shall begin to hear your testimonies in Jesus name!
