It’s A Mistake, Don’t Die With It

And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life. Judges 16:30.

As I look at the above scripture the Holy Ghost ministered to me that personal failures, discouragement, personal unforgiveness has killed many dreams, visions and purposes than the devil and his allied forces put together.

Samson felt he was no longer good enough to live or to be used of God seeing he seemed to have failed God and those who expect so much from him and on his assignment to his generation. He desired to die and free himself of the guilt of failure and a life of mockery from those who once respected him but he forgot to notice that the same God has allowed his hair to grow again.

LESSONS:

1. Your mistake is not a true test of your potential, possibilities and destiny but a discovery of what not to do next time.

2. A flat tyre is not the end of the journey, it can still be repaired or replaced.

3. Pride, ego and reputation when not handled may end up becoming the grave of destiny.

4. Never give up on God irrespective of your struggles for He will never give up on you.

5. People may shave your hair but they can’t stop it from regrowing.

6. Never wish all your enemies death, their presence makes your second coming more interesting and glorious.
Remember Psalm 23:4: Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies…

7. Your eventual success will erase the story of your initial failure. People forget failure easily once they see success.

8. That you decided to park does not mean other people are parking with you. Life goes on with or without your presence.

9. Your current reputation may be battered, but if you can work on your character, it will always give you a better reputation.

10. The things and people who tried to stop you are only fulfilling their ministry, don’t let them succeed at the expense of your destiny.

11. Refuse to focus on what seem not to work temporarily to what is working right now. You are not completely out.

12. Always remember the little successes you’ve had and draw strength from them when faced with a challenge.

MY COUNSEL TO YOU:
1. Never forget that whatever happened to you has happened to others and they still broke through to fulfill purpose, so stand up and get going. You are a survivor, with the grace of an overcomer and the Spirit of a conqueror, you can’t afford to fail!

2. If you have no reason to succeed, just succeed because of those waiting for you to fail.

3. Just before you give up, think about all those whose destinies are connected to your success!

Someone shout I hear!

I PRAY FOR YOU:
Every conspiracy to truncate your destiny is frustrated in the name of Jesus!

Those waiting to hear a negative news from you shall be disappointed in the name of Jesus!

Those who have concluded on you shall be stunned by your sudden reemergence in name of Jesus!

Share with someone if you are blessed and like the page to stay connected.
