And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? Acts 9:3-4.
It is easy many times for people to assume they know you too well to predict your likely outcome. From the above scripture, I discovered that in between location and assumed destination a transformation can occur that could change the outcome.
Saul left Jerusalem a Pharisee but arrived Damascus a disciple then went on to become an Apostle.
There are two things I saw from the above scripture that changed the name of Saul, his assignment, title and association.
1. He encountered light.
Light signifies the right revelation that upgrades perception, transforms mindset to reposition destiny.
3. He heard a voice.
A voice signifies information and impartation that influences choice and action which affects destiny.
WHAT ARE THE IMPLICATIONS OF THE ABOVE:
1. Everyone is changeable when exposed to the right information and revelation.
2. What you hear consistently will influence what you become ultimately. A lawyer, Doctor, Engineer or Accountant though from same institution but became what they are because of who taught them.
3. Never write off anyone who is not tired of learning and training.
4. As long as you are flexible towards God and your changing environment, everything positive is possible with you.
5. How and where a person starts becomes inconsequential to determining his destiny when he encounters the right information and revelation.
6. You may not necessarily end with the people you started with if you can see and hear something different from them.
7. What you are called at the beginning of your life’s journey is changeable by God anytime He decides.
COUNSEL:
1. In between your current location and destination be sensitive to Divine signals.
2. Appreciate and celebrate your current relationships but know when you need to separate.
3. Be passionate about what you are currently doing but be flexible in the hands of God.
4. Never bother with what people call you now, time and chance will handle that for you.
5. Be wise to separate from those who know the story of your history when it becomes difficult for them to accept the glory of your current reality.
