Many times as mortals, we expect so much from people especially from those we believe have the wherewithal to do certain things or play certain roles in certain junctions of our life’s journey. Many a time this is not always the case. I know how it feels when you expected someone to show some respect or gratitude for a role you went out of your way to play on their behalf but they pretend as though nothing happened. I know how it feels when you also have expected someone to do for you what you would have gladly done for them or someone else only to discover that they are unwilling to sacrifice for you, throw their weight on your behalf, raise a voice for you or stretch their hands in your direction as you would have gladly done for them. I know how it feels when someone is forming an attitude towards you just because you appear to need them at that very moment. I know how it feels when you see your well thought out plans come crashing down on you because of someone’s reluctance to play their part. I know how it feels… yes I know it feels.
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN AT THIS POINT OF YOUR LIFE?
1. Remember that you are uniquely different from every other person on earth.
2. Remind yourself that it’s God that promised you a future not man.
3. See your investments into anyone as a seed to God and a raw material into time rather than to the person.
4. Remember that both nature and God have a way of returning in a multiplied form anything given to them.
5. See every man as a privileged channel rather than source. The source (God) can always use other channels where one refuses to function.
6. Remember that systems, platforms, organizations, economies and men are prone to disappointments and failure but the plan of God doesn’t fail.
7. That you didn’t go to Nineveh by ship does not mean you can not arrive by fish.
8. See every Man’s refusal as his loss to be a part of your success story.
9. Know that if God said it, men may unknowingly fight it, circumstances will resist it but Jehovah will always perfect it in His time.
10. Always remember the pictures you saw; the things you heard and the testimonies of others who have been through where you are now. These act as tonics in seasons of despair.
COUNSEL:
1. Refuse to take any offense personal.
2. Believe in people but trust only in God.
3. Keep your head up and smile over those mistreating you now because of the real you that they don’t know about.
4. Always remember to look up when you can’t see ahead and around.
5. Refuse to be hurt by anyone’s actions, it’s part of the testimonies of tomorrow.
I PRAY FOR YOU:
Be healed of every past hurt in Jesus name!
No devil in demon or human form can abort your destiny in Jesus name.
Receive grace to quickly let go and move on in Jesus name!
