For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Luke 14:28-29.
The year has begun as expected with a lot of hopes and expectations . But before you start running having gotten insights from your retreat, please take time also to sit down .
WHAT ARE YOU SITTING FOR?
1. Sit down to plan.
2. Sit down to listen to the right instructions from tested instructors.
3. Sit down to listen to that audio book or message.
4. Sit down to read that necessary book.
5. Sit down to know who shouldn’t belong to your inner circle this year.
6. Sit down to review the activities of last year and know what to drop, minimize or increase focus and energy on.
7. Sit down to get spiritual, financial and career goals and pursuits.
8. Sit down to know the mentors you need to actualize your set goals.
9. Sit down to know what skills or trade will enhance your assignment and pursue its acquisition.
10. Sit down to know what percentage of your income goes to God, charity, parents and prophet.
The only way to escape a life of mockery is to first sit down. Many are always too much in a hurry to pursue without considering sitting down first hence the abundance of littleness and disappointments at the end. If you can sit down well, when you stand, people must notice your rising.
