When it’s better to let go

Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying, Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years… Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days. Isaiah 38:4-5, 39:8.

As I looked at the latter part of King Hezekiah’s life after he cried and pleaded for more years following the message of death from Isaiah to him, I saw fifteen years that should never have been. Though he got what he wanted for the moment but laid a foundation that destroyed the wellbeing of his next generation. He satisfied the immediate but lost the ultimate. I still see a lot of people make same mistake today in different areas of life. They rather sink with what has died due to name, fame, fear of the future or fear of human opinions. I have also seen those who dared the situations, took their destinies in their hands and ended as positive reference points.

1. Always trust God’s judgment when He begins to give you signals to quit what you are struggling to keep.

2. Never struggle to be where you are no longer needed, it’s a set up for future frustration.

3. Never struggle to keep anyone and anything in your life who does not appreciate the value of your presence. It will end in tears tomorrow.

4. Some people and things you are struggling to keep now may turn out to become your greatest adversaries tomorrow.

5. There are experiences that may make you cry today but God is actually using it to save you from crying tomorrow.

6. When a door seemed to be closing against you for no fault of yours, it’s possible God has opened other doors waiting for your discovery.

7. Anything you lose having done all you needed to do is not a loss but a set up for a better placement.

8. Anything you are afraid of losing is actually not within your grasp, you will still lose it.

9. After every breakthrough, beware who you share intimate details or celebrate with.

10. There are informations about your person and blessing that must never be shared with certain people who appear very close.

11. Cry now if you must; bear any pain now if you must but never mortgage your future just to save what you can’t guarantee eventually.

12. Refuse to transfer any inherited or acquired liability to the next generation. Let it end with you!

1. Keep your eyes on the ultimate, you will always survive the immediate.

2. Always remember that there’s no one way to any destination except heaven. Never insist on a certain person, place or thing.

3. Give your best to whatever you do but always trust God when seasons change.

4. Always remember that opinion is a common gift available to everyone, never allow that of others bury your destiny.

You will not be a victim of any human or satanic conspiracy!

Your later life shall be more fruitful and rewarding than your earlier one!

Your children shall never suffer what you you suffered!

Grace for consistent sensitivity in Jesus name!

See you next Monday on this platform!
You can share with others if you are blessed and led to.
