When Your Turn Comes

Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her. Esther 2:15

In life, I discovered when it’s not yet your turn it appears to men as though you are not intelligent, industrious, anointed, capable, beautiful or wise. People will abuse, ignore or denigrate your person and current status but only you and your God know what you are capable of doing and becoming. People always forget that the future of a person is not structured on the features of his or her face. No one gave Esther a chance because she did not have the relevant qualification, family name or necessary human connection but she had God. Please never forget that no one owns the stage forever neither is it in the hands of man to determine whose turn it will be but God. The person who got married today can not stop marriages from happening to others. The person who gave birth today can not stop conception from taking place in others. The person who is at cutting edge of ministry today can not stop others from coming up, it’s just a matter of time. I watched a video where Obama was making fun of Donald Trump in a meeting in New York in 2010 not knowing he was making jest of the man that would take over from him as the next President of the United States of America. I saw a picture where Osibanjo was taking instructions from Fashola when he was governor of Lagos state not knowing he was actually talking to the next Vice President of Nigeria. If Esther who was an orphan in the house of Mordecai a gate man and a prisoner of war can eventually become the queen of the empire then your turn is coming! When your turn comes, it comes loud and clear, the stage becomes yours and those who ignored, abused or denigrated you will return to sing your praises to the glory of God.

WHAT TO DO WHILE WAITING FOR YOUR TURN:
1. Remain connected to God.

2. Be focused and dedicated on your current assignment.

3. Never give in to depression or bitterness.

4. Rejoice with those whose turn it is now and sow into their lives where you can.

5. Be committed to personal development.

6. Refuse to be drawn into competitive jealousy.

7. Don’t bother replying those that insult you today because, your results and outcome tomorrow will answer them.

In all you do please always remember this scripture; I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him. Ezekiel 21:27.
